MASTERCHEF TV EXPERIENCE RESTAURANT, MARINA
MasterChef the TV Experience restaurant in Dubai is the grand finale for 2019 MJS Restaurant Blogging. It is a world-first restaurant concept located inside Millennium Place Marina Hotel, very easy to get to.
MasterChef Friday Brunch was absolutely buzzing with a lively atmosphere and great food. The restaurant has a very industrial feel with an open kitchen where you can have a quick chat with Head Chef Margarita and observe the culinary team at work. Elena the restaurant Manager gave a very warm welcome and talked through the Friday Brunch concept as it was a little different to the usual Friday Buffet Brunches in Dubai.
Let’s get started, Vegetarian MasterChef Brunch involves enjoying unlimited sharing-style starters from various finalists and champions, your choice of main and unlimited desserts all served to your table. There was a very good live entertainment band, encouraging the guests to sing -a- long and dance too!
The vegetarian starters to share started with Baked Brie with Bourbon Pecan and Maple Drizzle, second starter Avocado Bhaajis and third one Asparagus and Gochujang Pancakes dishes from MasterChef champions in the US, UK and Australia. Chef Margarita kindly sent over some fresh cooked sweet potato chips with chaat masala, these were so moorish!
For the mains we shared Charred Romaine Salad with pickled watermelon, blue cheese, candied pecans, balsamic vinaigrette and a Veggie Burger which was sweet potato, mixed veggies and a quinoa patty.
Sweet endings with unlimited sharing Desserts my favorite two: Deconstructed Key Lime Pie and Salted Chocolate Tart with Beetroot Sorbet. Lastly a cappuccino coffee to finish off the afternoon!

The late chef Antonio Carluccio founded Italian restaurant chain Carluccio's in 1999. Carluccio restaurant in Springs Souk is very big and spacious including outdoor seating too for the cooler months.
Absolutely delicious Italian dishes and the staff team are friendly and they love discussing the dishes on the menu, they have also introduced a Vegan Menu.
There are Pizza making classes for kids, keep them busy this summer!

Who would think that one of the best North Indian cuisine restaurants, could be found in the heart of the desert? Located on the Resort of Bab Al Shams bringing exotic flavours of India to the deserts of Arabia.
I loved the cosy ambiance of the courtyard of Masala. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating options, we chose al fresco option to dine under the stars. The New menu has been launched with more North Indian dishes added but keeping to the authentic style with lots of Vegetarian options.
My dining dishes were recommended by the experienced server Sarfaraz. Here is a list of vegetarian dishes that came to the table during the course of the evening. Appetizers Pakora served on a bed of hot stones to keep warm whilst we indulged. Dilli Chaat Sampler -Papdi chat, Aloo tikki, Samosa te kachor - loved the way it was served in a cart. Broccoli tandoored in cashew, cream, olive oil and cheese absolutely delicious!
Main Course: Kadahi Paneer - Cottage cheese and green pepper in spicy masala gravy Aloo Anardana Handpicked potato cooked with pomegranate and dry mango powder served with fragrant basmati rice with saffron along with Mint Paratha and Garlic Naan.
Desserts - Kuch Meetha Ho Jaye - Rasmalai Homemade cottage cheese dumpling poached in a sweet and saffron flavoured milk Apple Jalebi topped with apple cinnamon pudding- served with gulab jamun, caviar of jalebi and ice-cream definitely a dessert that looks too pretty to eat!
Masala is surely an excellent restaurant, with a beautiful setting, great food and exceptional hospitality.

I thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful opportunity to taste so many vegetarian options available at Gold by Rhodes. The lounge seating with Gold sofas and cushions is the perfect ambiance to relax and enjoy mocktails with family and friends whilst selecting your dishes from the menu for the movie. The staff at Vox Gold are very experienced and pleasant.
The food is all fresh and prepared on site and served in special wooden trays whilst you relax in the reclining chairs.
I would highly recommend it as a treat for family, friends and tourists too.

Launching today Little Miss India at Fairmont The Palm. The restaurant is named after fictional character Mohini Singh, Little Miss India is designed to take diners on a “journey through her worldly travels, amazing achievements and an eccentric menu” led by Executive Chef Alain Gobeil.
The restaurant centre piece is an ornately decorated ‘Tribal Art Taxi’ the front is viewed from al fresco dining where I indulged in my Dessert Phinee Brulee, and when you make your way indoors it continues as a Bar of the cocktail lounge and the breathtaking ambience of white French windows, beautiful chandeliers leading you in to the dining room which looks on to an open kitchen where guests can watch the chefs in action and also admire Little Miss India's most unusual collectables and vibrant art work.
The dishes are prepared with only the freshest of ingredients, all spice mixtures, marinades and pickles are ‘house-made’ by the culinary team using traditional preparation techniques. Exclusive viewing of the upcoming Menu at Theatre By Rhodes at Vox Cinemas, Mall of Emirates. Really enjoyed meeting Michelin star Chef Gary Rhodes and Chef Wayne Tapsfield and spending time with them observing how much time and effort is put into preparing each dish at Theatre By Rhodes. Chef Wayne has been right-hand man to Chef Gary Rhodes for many years and I was fascinated with their stories of the restaurants they have set up together over the years globally, his son Sam Rhodes is also part of this amazing teamwork. I thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful opportunity to taste so many vegetarian options already available at Theatre by Rhodes and also some new dishes coming up. Chef Gary Rhodes has taken movie watching with waiter service dinning to another level. A totally unique experience, the food is all fresh and prepared on site and served in special wooden trays that fit perfectly on the table beside your reclining cinema seats. You are in total control as to what time you would like your food to be served to you during the movie, so you select before settling down in your seat and allow the waiters to simply spoil you whilst you sit back and watch the movie.
The private lounge is also available for people not watching a movie at Theatre by Rhodes. Enjoy a menu by Chef Gary Rhodes in this luxurious lounge have a meal or even indulge in The English Afternoon Tea with friends and family and then go back to mall shopping. Celebrity Chef Jamie Oliver's restaurant offers Cooking Class that is a truly great experience and so much fun too! Class was taken by Chef Val and he took us through the steps from making the dough, rolling out our own pasta through the mechanical pasta machines and demonstrating sauce making. Followed by a delicious lunch and a chance to chat with other participants. Absolutely loved it.
Oh and not forgetting the goodie bag at the end!

The luxurious Indian restaurant is situated inside Souk Al Bahar. Patiala menu has two parts the classic and the innovative North Indian cuisine. The chefs prepare in the display kitchen open for diners to watch. The ambiance is both very relaxed and stylish.
