1 Green Capsicums
1 Green mango
4 Hot green Chilies
1 bunch fresh coriander, chopped
1 tbsp ground peanuts (optional)
1 tsp salt (or to taste)
1/2 tsp turmeric
2 tsp sugar (or to taste)
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
Optional – Green apples instead of the mango and also fresh mint
Chop and wash the capsicum and green chilies, coriander.
In a food processor or liquidizer place all the ingredients in and make chutney of medium consistency.
You can make it spicy by adding more hot green chilies.
The Chutney can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week in the fridge.
You can freeze it for up to 2-3 weeks.
Green Chutney can be served with savoury dishes, spread for sandwiches and also as a dip.
