TACO BHEL - Fusion of Indian & Mexican adding that extra crunch in every bite!
Serves approx 12 Taco's
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups puffed rice (dry roasted)
1 tin chick peas (drain and boil)
2 -3 medium potatoes boiled and chopped
2 onions chopped finely
2 cloves garlic crushed (or to your taste)
1 small raw mango chopped finely
1 large tomato chopped finely
4-5 green chillies finely chopped
roasted peanuts optional
1 bunch chopped coriander
2 tbs sunflower oil
1-2 tbs lemon juice
salt to taste
2-3 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp garam masala
Garnish:
Guacamole
sour cream
chopped coriander and chillies
METHOD:
Place all the ingredients together in a large bowl and toss until mixed well. If it looks dry you can add more lemon juice or a little more oil.
Fill each taco shell with the mixture and spoon guacamole and sour cream evenly over it, garnish coriander and chillies.
