HEALTHY Yellow Moog Dal Salad


Healthy Yellow Moog Dal Salad - with gorgeous array of fresh coloured vegetables & herbs.

INGREDIENTS:

Yellow Moong Dal – 1/2 cup soak for 2 -3 hours remove water and steam for approx 10 minutes make sure that it does not become too soft.

1 Onion chopped finely can also use spring onions

1 bowl Cucumbers cubed

1 bowl Bell peppers sliced

1/2 bowl Carrots sliced

1-2 Green chilies finely sliced

1 - 2 Garlic cloves chopped finely (optional)

chopped coriander to your taste

fresh mint chopped to your taste

1- 2 tbsp Lime juice

1 tbsp Olive oil

Salt to taste

Black pepper & Chilli flakes (optional)

Sliced fresh lime for garnishing.


METHOD:

  1. Soak moog dal and then steam for approx 10 minutes make sure that it does not become too soft.

  2. Place moog dal in a bowl and add all the above ingredients.

  3. Salad is ready to serve!
