Serves: 4
Ingredients For the Marinade:
6-7 Soya chaap sticks
1/2 cup thick yogurt
2 tbsp Lemon Juice
4 tbsp Cream thick
3 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
2 tsp white ground pepper
2 - 3 tsp Kasuri Methi
3-4 fresh crushed Green Chilies
2 tsp Garam masala
1 tsp Nutmeg Powder
1 tsp Green Cardamom Powder
Salt to taste
Ingredients for the sauce :
2 tbsp Oil
2 tbsp Butter
1 tsp Cumin
1 cup Onions (sliced)
2-3 finely chopped Green Chilies
1/2 cup Cream thick
½ tsp Green Cardamom Powder
1 tsp Kasuri Methi
Fresh coriander
METHOD :
Remove the sticks from soya chaap and cut into 1-inch slices
Prepare the marination by mixing all the marinade ingredients in a bowl add the soya pieces and toss slowly, cover all pieces. Set aside for 1/2 an hour.
Heat butter & oil in a pan, add cumin and saute onions for 3-4 minutes, add a little salt to speed up the saute process.
Add the marinated soya and cook for about 5 minutes.
Slowly add the cream, cardamom powder, kasuri methi, green chilies and chopped fresh coriander. Cook for a further 2 minutes. Serve hot with a salad of your choice or chutney.
